UPDATE: Three candidates in the running for Nelson By-Election

UPDATE: February 25th

There are now three official candidates running for the office of councilor in the Nelson By-Election.

Former candidate Daniel Nolan says he fully intends to run in two years but has changed his mind about this election.

“I’m not really comfortable with replacing Brittny’s spot on the council because that would only leave one woman on a council of six people. So I have stepped back and am going to withdraw from the race.”
