Nelson Police Department advises drivers to stay off the roads

With the heavy snow falling, it is causing compact snow and slippery roads which has led the Nelson Police Department to recommend that drivers stay off the roads throughout the city.

Police say crews are doing everything they can to clear the roads but for the time being, they advise drivers to stay at home.
