You’ve heard of a snow day, but how about classes being washed out?
Crawford Bay Elementary Secondary will be closed Tuesday as a result of heavy rain.
The Kootenay Lake school district says it overwhelmed the wastewater system. The washrooms are out of service and there was some minor flooding in a crawl space.
School buses will not be running.
