Grand Forks arsonist gets three year jail term

The man who burned down the Grand Forks Hotel and damaged the Winnipeg Hotel has been sentenced to three years in prison.

Court records also show he’s been banned from owning a fire arm for ten years.

47 year old Christopher Cusack was arrested within a few hours of the late night fires in March 2012.

The lengthy court proceedings the past two years also involved Cusack being sent for psychiatric assessment.
