As the extraordinary events in Ottawa move into late afternoon security officials are still going door-to-door making sure everyone is safe.
Both the Ottawa Police and RCMP are considering the situation dynamic and unfolding. This after a soldier was shot at the War Memorial and later died.
That prompted a full lock-down of Parliament and surrounding areas including downtown Ottawa.
