Forward Craig Martin lead the Trail Smoke Eaters to a 4-1 win over the Salmon Arm Silverbacks Wednesday night.
Martin had two goals and an assist as Trail earned a third straight victory.
Trail is tied with Merritt for second in the Interiot division after 10 games this season.
The Smokies visit the Silverbacks Friday.
