Man wanted by Nelson RCMP for assault causing bodily harm

Nelson RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating Michael Struthers, 41, after he failed to appear in a Castlegar court on Sept. 21.

Struthers is wanted for assault causing bodily harm in Balfour and is described as a white male, six-foot-two, 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The crime is alleged to have occurred  Aug. 14, 2016 and a warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to appear in court in March of 2019. 

He was apprehended last month  and was released on bail but failed to appear in a Castlegar court.

Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Struthers to contact their local police, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
