Businesses in Grand Forks need to keep local dollars in the community and not see them go south of the border.
This from Chris Hammet who is one of 16 candidates running for city council.

Hammett says her two main platform issues heading into the November 15th election are economic development and business recruitment.
She has also spent over 10 years working for the local Grand Forks Gazette newspaper
