Lenora Trenaman re-elected as SD8 chair

Lenora Trenaman will continue to serve as chairperson for School District 8 after narrowly winning against Mary Jayne Blackmore in a vote Tuesday by trustees.

Trenaman says she is grateful for the chance to serve her community and is passionate about education.

“I am deeply invested in the district,” says Trenaman. “As well as education and children.”

Trenaman says she feels honored to serve again as chair and she is looking forward to working with all the trustees across the district to provide support for students and educators from kindergarten through to grade 12.
