Two campers threatened at gunpoint in Blewett

Nelson RCMP are asking for help to identify four suspects after they pointed a rifle at occupants at a camper trailer on Rover Creek Forest Road near Blewett. 

Police say the weapon was pointed at the victims and then fired in the air as a “scare tactic” before the four suspects set fire to the camper trailer. 

According to police, the suspects are connected to a white pickup truck with a plow. The make, model and year of the truck are not known.

Police are continuing with the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact the Nelson RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
