The public will get their first significant look early next year at the couple charged in connection with several armed robberies around our region.
Andrew Stevenson and partner Krista Kalmikoff face charges related to the use of a firearm in the robberies of several local financial institutions and a store.
The preliminary hearing ahead of a trial has been set for January 28th and 29th in Nelson court.
Stevenson remains in custody while Kalmikoff is out in bail.
Stevenson made another brief video appearance from Kamloops Tuesday. He’s still on crutches following his serious injury during his arrest in April, although that did not stop him from trying to flee custody outside Nelson court last month.
He will enter a plea on that additional charge on December 2nd.
