Nelson water quality advisory cancelled

The City of Nelson says the city’s tap water is fine again.

It has cancelled a water quality advisory issued a week ago due to cloudy water resulting from the spring freshet.

They say tests now indicate the water is rated as good. However, they will continue to keep an eye on it as a “significant” amount of snowpack still has to melt.
