Gastrointestinal outbreak at Jubilee Manor grows

The number of cases gastrointestinal illness at a long-term care facility in Nelson has grown slightly.

Interior Health says as of Friday, Jubilee Manor in Nelson was up to 22 resident and 14 staff cases in an outbreak that began May 8.

Rose Wood Village in Trail had 19 resident cases in an outbreak that began May 5, but the outbreak was declared over today.

A similar outbreak at Swan Valley Lodge in Creston has been declared over.
