Police appeal for info on missing Nelson man

Three years after he went missing, police are appealing again for tips on the disappearance of Cory Westcott.

Westcott, 34, was seen for the last time on Aug. 31, 2020 in Bonnington and was reported missing four days later.

He’s five-foot-10, 209 pounds, with blonde hair, hazel eyes, a gold crown on his upper front left tooth and multiple tattoos and body piercings.

He was last seen wearing white pants, a black t-shirt, black shoes, and multi-coloured Supreme band backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nelson RCMP at 250-352-2156, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

RCMP Cpl. James Grandy said while Westcott’s disappearance was originally a Nelson Police Department investigation, the file was recently moved to the Nelson RCMP.
