Among the highlights from Wednesday night’s Nelson mayoral forum was a public admission from one of the candidates that she was thinking about running federally.
Councillor Deb Kozak told last night’s forum she set aside other ambitions to run for mayor.
She’d been considering the Liberals and NDP..
Incumbent John Dooley says he’s not surprised Kozak is running for mayor because she’s experienced.
But Pat Severyn says he’s been to more meetings than that and is concerned with what he’s seen.
The crowd also heard CUPE BC has endorsed Severyn while marijuana reform group Sensible BC backs Kozak.
