Nelson’s number one vote-getter in Saturday’s election is reminding people what’s important to her.
Anna Purcell secured over 2,400 votes.
Purcell says she was shocked by her election success but is very much looking forward to bringing those values to the council table.
She adds being a part of the successful Nelson Civic movie theatre renovation and operations has given her a clear insight into what can be achieved when the public, private enterprise and the city work together.
