Man killed in single vehicle incident west of Salmo

A 43-year-old man from Salmo tragically lost his life this weekend in a single-vehicle collision west of Salmo, near the bridge at Second Relief Road.

A media release from Salmo RCMP stated that officers responded to the incident at 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, June 8.

Upon arrival, officers observed that it appeared as though the driver had lost control of his vehicle before colliding with the bridge’s barricades.

RCMP say it appeared as though the driver had lost control of his vehicle before colliding with the bridge’s barricades. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

RCMP, along with the BC Coroners Service, are continuing their investigation into the cause.
