50-year-old man killed in motorcycle crash on Highway 3A

BC RCMP spokesperson Cpl.  James Grandy has confirmed the death of a 50-year-old man involved in a motorcycle crash on Highway 3A near Sanca Creek on Sunday, July 14.

Grandy said the man was travelling alone, northbound down Highway 3A between Nelson and Creston, when he went off the road and into a pole Sunday afternoon.

“Unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are continuing to investigate.”
