Effective immediately, a Boil Water Notice is being issued for users on the Water System. The notice is being issued due to the Evacuation Order for the Village of Slocan
Due to the Evacuation Order for the Village of Slocan, Effective 9:00 am on July 28, 2024, the Slocan Water Treatment and Filtration Plan will be bypassed, and all water must be BOILED.
Raw, unfiltered water will be distributed through the system. We will notify residents when service can resume.
Until notified, water intended for drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making beverages or ice, or brushing teeth should be boiled for one minute prior to use.
