A strategic planning meeting for Trail’s new council will reaffirm the direction the city is taking through the next four years.
This from incoming mayor Mike Martin who was involved in organizing the sessions for mid-March.
He explains why they had to wait til the next year.
Projects already on the new council’s plate include: the Riverfront Centre, the pedestrian/pipe bridge, boundary expansion and the troublesome shared recreation service.
Martin says they are currently defining roles and responsibilities when it comes to council committees and they hope to have that set by mid December.
