Greater Trail decides on 3 year economic development contract

It was doubtful for a while but the Greater Trail region is back on board with having an independent economic development organisation.

RDKB taxpayers along with a chunk of funding from the Columbia Basin Trust will keep the Lower Columbia Community Development Team going for another three years.

Economic Development Officer Terry van Horn sees it as a vote of confidence for regional thinking on attracting new businesses and needed professionals.

The service was not funded the last year.
