Nakusp emergency water shut-off

The Village of Nakusp will have their water shut-off as crews attend to an emergency.

The water shut-off will affect residents along Nakusp East Road from Alexander Road down to Shakespeare Road, including Glenbank Road, Wells Road, and Heppner Road.

Water will be shut-off from 1 p.m. and anticipate being completed by 3 p.m.

For those driving in the area, please slow down and watch for crews and equipment working.

When the water comes back on, if you notice any air pockets or milky-looking water, run your cold water tap to fix it.
