NDP leader David Eby says he’ll remove the provincial carbon tax….if the federal government removes the legal requirement that one be in place.
Eby said the idea was a good one years ago but things have changed, with British Columbians facing higher prices, and many are struggling with affordability.
He adds his government would make big polluters pay.
The B-C Conservative party has made a similar pledge to remove the carbon tax if elected on October 19th.
