Staff at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital are receiving thanks today for helping to give the greatest gift of all.
It’s BC Transplant’s annual tradition that sees organ recipients give out festive tins of popcorn to staff in the intensive care units, emergency departments and operating rooms in hospitals across the province.
Castlegar’s Rob Nutter had a heart and lung transplant last year and says life is already back to normal.
Nutter says he continues to promote the benefits of B.C Transplant and visits with patients to offer support.
