BCIHL: Major confidence boost for Saints heading into holidays.

It may have been exhibition but a landmark weekend nonetheless for the Selkirk Saints.

The Saints split a pair of games against the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns of the Canadian Interuniversity Sports league.

Going from just five wins in 2011/2012, followed by back to back championships and now defeating teams on the national level, head Coach Alex Evin says Selkirk’s program has come a long way.

The Saints are idle til January 9th when they host first place Trinity Western.

Selkirk finishes the first half of the season in third – five points back of first.
