The Rossland Council For Arts and Culture is excited about the potential for the undeveloped attic space in the historic Miners Hall.
It’s the mainĀ focus of the RCAC part ofĀ an approximate $1 million reno toĀ the 106 year old building.
Here’s the Renovation Committee’s Ann Damude.
Damude says they plan on turning the 1,200 sq ft space into a green room for performers, as well as multi-purpose area.
She says they are in the beginning stage of applying for funding for the renovations.
The project – that will also see work done to the exterior of the hall – is expected to start in 2016.
