iPads instead of computer lab in local schools

Christina Lake Elementary is the latest school in the district to see success with the implementation of tablet technology.

It received 30 iPads at the start of the year that students use for programs like Minecraft, I-movie, Garage Band, and Comic Life.

Board Chair Teresa Rezansoff says all the teachers in the district have amazing skills but there is a certain benefit to adding technology to the teacher – student dynamic.

Rezansoff says just about every school in the district uses similar technology and they are always looking at different strategies to teach kids.
