25-year-old Blewett resident killed in vehicle collision west of Nelson

A single-vehicle collision west of Nelson on Sunday morning claimed the life of a 25-year-old resident of Blewett.

Nelson RCMP say officers responded to reports of the collision, which occurred on Hwy 3A/6 at around 9 a.m. on January 19.

The single vehicle involved had left the roadway and gone over a rock embankment. The driver of the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene and has been identified as a 25-year-old Blewett resident.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
