Nelson arsonist pleads guilty

Nelson resident David Travis plead guilty to three counts of arson in Nelson court on Tuesday, February 4.

Travis is accused of setting fires in Gyro Park and around Nelson last summer, in which he was arrested and released with conditions that he attend a rehab program in Kamloops and wear an electronic ankle monitor.

These conditions remain in place.

Meanwhile, Travis is also facing one count of break-and-enter, to which he has not entered a plea.

Travis will reappear in court for sentencing on March 4.
