Getting back to the negotiating table in the new year to discuss shared recreation services with surrounding communities is a top priority for Trail.
So says mayor Mike Martin after his council received letters from both the Beaver Valley and Rossland expressing their willingness to re-open negotiations.
However, Martin says their recreation program is complicated and they need to do some homework first.
Martin says they have to look internally on what changes could possibly be made to better suit the region.
He expects major amendments could be made to the Trail resident program.
