KIJHL: Nite Hawks top Leafs; grab 9th straight win

A 4-1 victory for the Beaver Valley Nite Hawks Tuesday night to kick off a home and home exchange with the Nelson Leafs.

Blueliner Walker Sidoni tallied two goals and four points to help push the Nite Hawks to a ninth straight victory.

The two sides will meet again in the Queen city Wednesday afternoon.

B.V is now four points ahead of Nelson for first in the Neil Murdoch Division.
