As expected Castlegar city council has voted to ratify the new 6-year collective deal with their unionized workers.
The union ratified last week.
The deal features a letter of understanding regarding the key sticking point of job security language and also ways of speeding up the grievance handling process.
It includes a 15 hour per month cap on city paid time for union investigation and settling of union grievances.
There will be a 10.3% wage increase over the six year term.
Workers are expected to be back on the job full time from Monday.
