Ebola test nurse never afraid

The nurse practitioner at the centre of the Ebola testing case at Kelowna General Hospital says she was never afraid she might have the virus.

Rossland-based Patrice Gordon has been discharged from KGH after several tests came back negative.

Gordon says she felt anxious about all the media attention but fully understands why it was such a big deal.

In the end she had only a cold.

She hopes her situation will highlight the need for more help to the people in West Africa who she calls the true heroes of the Ebola outbreak.
