Storm brings 34 cms snow

34 centimetres of snow fell Sunday and into this morning as we continue to dig out of the first big storm of the season.

Local weather expert Jesse Ellis says we’ll see about another 10-centimetres through today with the possibility of freezing rain after midnight Monday night.

Another wave of moisture is expected Tuesday morning and Ellis says the West Kootenay is right on the cusp of the storm system.

That makes it hard to tell at this stage if we’ll see any moe heavy snow.

He figures we’re in for about 5-centimetres tonight.

Wednesday and Thursday will be dry.
