Castlegar is taking another shot at the Kraft Hockeyville challenge.
It’s an annual competition that pins Canadian communities against each other to demonstrate who has the most passion for the sport.

The city was unsuccessful in their bid last year – as the winner was Sylvan Lake, Alberta.
People can nominate communities online at khv2015.ca until February 8th with the winner being announced in April.
The successful community will host an NHL preseason game and receive $100,000 in arena upgrades.
