Construction on the Multi Use Facility in Castlegar’s Millennium Park is slated for March.
Crews were supposed to break ground on the covered concession, kitchen and picnic area project in the Fall.
The Facility is being spearheaded by the two local Rotary clubs.
Sunrise Rotary’s Ron Ross says they couldn’t get all their building permits completed in time last year.
Ross says they’re currently putting out tenders for contractors.
Zellstoff Celgar contributed half the funding towards the 360-thousand dollar multi-use concession.
