KIJHL: Rebels rev up for playoffs with crucial stretch ahead

For the Castlegar Rebels – the postseason begins now.
The Rebels are currently tied for second in the Neil Murdoch Division with the Nelson Leafs and sit four points up on the Spokane Braves.

With nine of their final 10 games this season against division opponents and three of their next four versus Spokane – Castlegar Head Coach Jesse Dorrans says a playoff mentality needs to in the heads of all his players.

The Rebels kick off a home and home set with the Braves Friday in Spokane.

Meanwhile, Castlegar has added some pieces to the puzzle for the road ahead.

Dorrans  is very pleased with the two additions they made before the trade deadline this past weekend.

Headrick had 24 points in 24 games with the Wranglers this season.

Dyckens is a 6 foot four forward that spent 14 games with the Golden Rockets this year.
