KIJHL: Leafs get long-awaited help

Some much needed reinforcements are on the way for the Nelson Leafs.

Head Coach David McLellan says the additions couldn’t have come sooner.


The Green and White picked up Defenceman and WHL prospect Brendan Grier from the VIJHL’s Comox Valley Glacier Kings.

They added former Creston Valley Thunder Bird Forward Tyler Fyfe.

And they also brought back Brendan Smith who was released by the Leafs in November.

Blueliner Patrick Croome – who has been out for nearly two months – could return to the lineup this weekend.
