BCHL: Unexpected opportunity for Smokies' backup

A heavier load than maybe what was expected at the beginning of the season for Trail Smoke Eaters goaltender Brett Clark.

Clark -who is in his rookie season – took over the starter role after number one netminder Adam Todd went down to injury last month.

After 21 starts in the league, Clark says he is starting to build confidence.

Trail heads to Merritt tonight to take on the Centennials.
