The city of Nelson will look into a bylaw that allows people to live in an RV on their property some of the time.
Resident Joanne Ryan has complained an RV next to her appears to be inhabited all year …and no one in town wants that.
She’s complained for over a year but says the city’s done nothing.
City Manager Kevin Cormack says their information suggests the RV is being used on an intermittent basis – as per the bylaw – and this is a matter of interpretation.
He says council may look at defining what intermittent really means.
