A possible cougar sighting in Nelson’s Rosemont neighborhood.
Nelson police say they’ve received a report it was spotted Wednesday night around 10 pm near the corner of Crease Avenue and West Innes.
We have also heard the wild cat was seen near the bus stop at the college campus a little earlier.
Police advise anyone who may comes across the cat to not run away as this may prompt it to chase and attack.
Among actions you can take are to raise your voice and arms and clap your hands.
