Gross profits were up at Teck Trail Operations but overall the company is reporting a big decline since 2013.
Teck Resources is announcing gross profits of $452 million for 2014 compared to the $ 1 billion posted in 2013.
Lower commodity prices were the main factor.
But at Trail operations zinc production was up year-over-year. That’s reflected in an increase of gross profits from $61 million in 2013 to $76 million last year.
