A mixed bag for K to 12 education in this week’s government budget.
This from Kootenay-Columbia Board Chair Darrel Ganzert.
He says it’s very good news districts aren’t on the hook for any of the recent teacher contract settlement.
And while he’s happy to see a big boost to the learning improvement fund for teachers that appears to be off-set by a call to cut administration.
Ganzert says administration includes senior management, principals and vice-principals,and some CUPE managers.
But he adds it’s too to say what areas would be impacted.
