The Nelson Leafs came out on top 5-4 in a thrilling triple over time finish against the Beaver Valley Nite Hawks Saturday.

Leafs Forward Rayce Miller was the hero in the sixth period after B.V shut out Nelson 5-0 in Game 1 Friday.
Nite Hawks Forward Allan Pruss had three goals and four points over the weekend.

Game 3 goes Monday night in Nelson.

Elsewhere,

The Castlegar Rebels were handed a 6-3 loss Saturday by the Spokane Braves.

The Rebels edged the Braves 4-3 in game one Friday.

Game 3 is in Spokane Monday.
