KIJHL Wrap: Feb. 23

The Beaver Valley Nite Hawks stormed back in the third period to upset the Nelson Leafs 5-2 Monday night.

B.V scored four unanswered goals in the final frame to stun the Leafs in Game 3 and take a 2-1 series lead.

Nite Hawks Captain Taylor Stafford says Head Coach Terry Jones had some encouraging words heading into the third period.

Stafford had two goals on the night.

Game 4 is Tuesday night in the Queen City.

The Castlegar Rebels came from behind to beat the Spokane Braves 2-1 Monday night.

Castlegar shoots for a 3-1 series lead Tuesday as game 4 is in Spokane.
