Grand Forks council approves cannabis music fest

Grand Forks council has approved the proposed Canna-Fest event his summer.

This is subject to police and various city departments giving it the okay.

The 1980’s music festival will also feature speeches and education focused on the benefits of cannabis.

Organizer Chuck Varabioff is originally from Grand Forks and says he’s done his homework in preparing for this event and no marijuana will be sold or provided.

The fenced-off event will run august 7th and 8th at James Donaldson Park and be limited to 3,000 tickets.
