Castlegar Downtown loses popular business

It’s a knock to Castlegar’s downtown but that doesn’t mean it’s dying.

This from city councillor Deb McIntosh with news the very popular Old School House Cafe – which is run by the School District – is closing to the public.

McIntosh also runs a downtown business and reminds the community there are continued opportunities and positive aspects to reflect on.

The Old School Cafe has a restaurant component with alternate learning students serving the public.

But SD20 says that became too stressful for many students.
