UPDATED: No injuries in semi-trailer crash on Highway 6 between Nelson and Ymir

No one was injured in a head-on collision involving two large semi-trucks on Highway 6 between Nelson and Ymir last Thursday. 

Nelson RCMP say an investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing, in conjunction with Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement. 

The highway was reduced to single-lane alternating traffic for a period of time while the two vehicles involved were removed from the roadway.
