The Beaver Valley Nite Hawks topped the Castlegar Rebels 3-2 in overtime Monday night to take Game 1 of the Neil Murdoch Division Final.
The back and forth affair was forced into an extra period after Rebels Forward Dawson Haines tied the game in the middle of the third.
However, with a minute left in OT Nite Hawks Forward Devin Nemes jumped into the play and made good on a pass from Kyle Hope.
Game 2 goes 7PM Tuesday night in Fruitvale.
