Residents near Castlegar’s Connors Road still want answers on why the city won’t meet with to discuss the contentious pathway that runs through their neighborhood.
A group of concerned homeowners stood up during Question Period at council’s regular meeting last night echoing concerns of the necessity of the path.
Longtime Riverside Crescent resident Nesta Hale says council has never responded to their requests to get together.
Hale argues their property values have decreased since the changes.
Council says they have heard the concerns with the residents and voted not to meet with them.
The city received $100,000 worth of provincial funding for the $250,000 project that plans to connect the north and south ends of the community.
